We rolled up 6.30pm Bank Holiday Sunday after getting off the ferry from Ireland and deciding we couldn't go any further. Despite the site being full and expecting two further units the wardens kindly found us a corner with electric hookup.

The toilet block is small but adequate, I'm sure it gets busy but we're early risers.

Despite there being children on the site it went very quiet by 9pm (we were asleep by 9.30!).

The barrier is locked by 10.30pm and not opened again until 8am so there are no cars driving round the site at night.

It cost us £16 including showers and electricity. We thought this very reasonable after paying much much more in Ireland.

The site is sign posted from the main A road.
