 Perfect location beside the canal in the most lovely village. Pitches not designated so you could pitch anywhere, level campsite with electric hook up and water at regular points around the campsite. Village a five minute walk from campsite and a number of pleasant eateries in village. The only thing that lets the site down are the facilities. Very old fashioned which is fine but we’re very dirty which is not fine. Lighting poor in showers and water lukewarm only. With a bit of investment and TL C this could be a fantastic site. Owners are English and very welcoming and helpful. Not sure if I could cope with dirty facilities so not sure we would return which is a great shame.

We stayed here in August 2016. The site is on an island between two branches of the river/canal just on the edge of the town, with the canal towpath just over the bridge.
The bakery, butchers and little supermarket are a five minute walk away. Swimming pool was a 10 minute cycle. There are two restaurants within 3 minutes walk. Lots to do in the local area, castles (Pontivy) and scenery (Guerdelan). Dinan and the coast are 1. 5 hours away and made a good car-based daytrip. Loads of lovely cycle trips along quiet lanes and cycle paths.
The site is very level, great for tents, and there are electric hook ups, though we didn't use these. Plently of space and you chose where to pitch. Lots of trees for sahde as well. There is one washblock with male/female toilets, sink cubicles and shower cubicles. The water was always warm, but not hot (we would have liked it a bit hotter!). There are also washing up facilities and a washing machine and drying racks. There is a children's swing set and sandpit for little kids and plently of room for kids to run around. There are a couple of fire pits and an open sided marquee is provided with tables and chairs for wet weather eating. It is quite a basic site, compared to some we have stayed in, but everything we needed and wanted was here.
It's a really quiet site, absolutely silent after 10pm. We really enjoyed our time here. The owners are very helpful and they also run the bike hire. Almost everybody (including us) was there to do some cycling and there were bikes outside every tent. Lots of cycle campers as well. We would definitely recommend.
