 Review of Offenham touring site – 4-Night Stay
This was our first visit to this campsite, chosen after our regular site in the area closed down. We stayed for four nights and were generally impressed with the cleanliness and upkeep of the site.
Arrival & Facilities:
The wardens were very friendly and welcoming, meeting us at the barrier and clearly explaining the site rules and procedures. We had a hard-standing super pitch, which was level and ideal for camper vans. The pitches, however, were quite close together — with just enough space for a caravan, car (across front of caravan), and a small patch of grass between neighbours.
Pitch Layout:
We were instructed to reverse onto our pitch, which unfortunately meant our view was of the pub garden rather than the surrounding countryside. This layout made us feel like an extension of the pub garden and left us facing other caravans, which detracted from the sense of privacy.
Amenities & Surroundings:
Although we didn’t use the toilets or showers, they appeared very clean. The on-site pub could be a bonus for some — we didn’t visit it, but it has good reviews. There are some lovely walks directly from the site, including along the river and through the adjacent static caravan park. It’s also a great base for exploring the Cotswolds. We were delighted to hear a cuckoo during our stay — a lovely touch of nature.
Noise & Disruption:
Unfortunately, the site wasn’t as peaceful as we had hoped. It’s located on a busy road corner, so there was frequent traffic noise, including lorries. Nearby malamute kennels meant regular howling from early morning, and a crow scarer went off from of dawn to dusk at irregular intervals. While these issues aren’t the fault of the campsite, they did impact our ability to relax.
Overall Verdict:
While the site is well-maintained and ideally located for exploring the area, the noise levels and tight pitch layout mean we won’t be returning. It may suit others better, especially those who value convenience over tranquillity.

Lovely, quiet campsite. We stayed here for just two nights as were passing through the area.
The site was small but very spacious - there was a lot of space for each pitch.
The toilets and showers were great - very very clean and seemed pretty new.
There is a pub right there on the site which has some good beers. We didn't eat there but the menu looked good.
It's in a quiet area but we found a couple of walks to explore the area and stretch our legs.
Nice staff too - my initial booking was by telephone and the Karen was very helpful.
Upon arrival I telephoned to be let in as the wardens weren't on site but didn't have to wait long to get in.
Very nice place to visit if you are after some peace and quiet.

Great site, warm welcome from Wardens, first visit since re-branding.
Level pitches, hard standing, EHU, spotless facilities,
Great location behind the pub.

Since my last visit in January a number of improvements have been made. All of the hard standing pitches have been revamped with some now having grey water disposal and fresh water stand pipes installed.
Other grass pitches have been converted to hard standing.
I believe that there are, now, only 4 grass pitches remaining.
Nice improvements which means the site now gets a 10 out of 10 from me.

Cannot fault the site, toilet/showers are excellent and cleaned regular by the friendly warders.
Had a meal in the pub which was very good, my daughter in law stated it was the best vegetarian meal she had ever had which was veggie Wellington all cooked fresh.
Will definitely return again.

Bredon Vale Caravan And Camping - Evesham
Bredon Vale Caravan And Camping overlooks Bredon Hill and the Malverns, and is only 25 minutes from the Cotswolds, Stratford Upon Avon and Evesham Vale Light Railway. Set in an orchard of over 100 fruit trees, this dark-skies site has tent, caravan and motorhome pitches, grass or hardstanding, and optional EHU. For glampers there are log pods, a vintage caravan and a bell tent.
Facilities include a heated amenity block with toilets, showers and a family room, information point, laundry room and a washing up area. Natural kid's play area with some outdoor games to borrow. Shop with campsite essentials, and fresh produce often available. Local pub is just a 15 minute walk from the site. For extra supplies Tesco and Chadbury Farm Shop and Cafe are both just a five minute drive from the site.

Just returned from our, I think, 4th visit and everything was absolutely fine. Toilets and showers were deep cleaned everyday. Managers were very helpful, as usual. Recommended.
Local for Evesham (£14 taxi ride away)
The pub which adjoins the site is always a pleasure to visit. Good selection of ales, beers ciders etc. Very dog friendly!

Very nice site with good amenities, toilets cleaned and sanitised as well as electricity points.
Pub as great food with very nice staff.

Spent two nights here between two rallies. Lovely flat site with a mix of hardstanding and grass pitches all with ehu.
Staff very friendly (shared with static site over the road) and facilities are modern and kept spotless.
Pub at front of the site serves good quality pub grub and a good selection of beers.
Good cycling and walking from the site and close to both Evesham and Stratford upon Avon.
Would highly recommend.

Lovely small site behind the pub. At the time no facilities were open due to COVID restrictions but looked clean when they do re-open. The ub was limited too as it had changed hands.
Nearby the River Avon and some lovely walks.
Pubs not to far to walk either. Can visit Stratford, Evesham if you have transport. Lovely site owners.
Returning in September. £20 per night with EHU.
