 Excellent site nestled in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons with beautiful views of the Black Mountain.
Alex and Bob, the owners, are very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Good clean facilities with 3 Showers, 3 toilets, 3 sinks, hairdrying stations, 2 sinks for washing up, use of Fridge Freezer, phone charging area and free Tea/Coffee.
Spacious pitches, each with their own dedicated fire pit separated by wild grass/flowers and friendly accommodating site owners. New for 2024 is a communal firepit area and a pop up bar is apparently opening soon!
Nearest shops are in Llangadog (10 mins by car) and Llandovery (20 mins) with Llandovery having a good size Co-op supermarket and a good selection of pubs and takeaways.
Also nearby is a pop up pizza tent serving delicious fresh sourdough pizzas on Friday evening.
I'd highly recommended Cosmos Camping and i'll definitely be visiting again.

We stayed on this site walking Black Mountain, as other people mentioned Bob and Alex could not have been more helpful especially when we were bit stranded as our intended site had to close down.
The site is quite small but with an excellent wash room / toilet block. There is also a small camp kitchen with a fridge and kettle.
There is also a coffee horse box bar which is opened in the morning, although I suspect just ask is also an option.
Lovely views all around.
There are fire pits/stands on every pitch, these being very spacious.

We have been advised that this site (previously known as Cuckoo Camping) is under new management, who say they have completely refurbished the facilities and rebranded the business as 'Cosmos Camping'. Same location but under new management.

Middle of nowhere basic campsite. Perfect ! Lucky, the field was empty giving us the option to pitch anywhere. Each pitch comes with a fire pit and is well spaced out. We went with spot next to an old pond, under the trees.
Toilets and shower room needs updating but they did the trick. Kitchen comes with microwave, fridge, kettle and a good size washing up area.
Its a pleasant experience when everyone sticks to the rules, making a visit the best one yet. (no loud people with radios)

Me and my friend stayed at Cuckoo camping for one night and had a fantastic time. The owners made us feel welcome and accommodated us for everything we needed.
For example, I made the silly mistake of forgetting the tent rods so they provided us with their own tent and even helped us put it up. The facilities are good and the scenery is stunning.
Thank you for a brilliant trip and I will be back soon.
