 The campsite had all I needed- the location was great for walking (up to the White Horse) and cycling around to Avebury, West Kennet Barrow and Silbury Hill. Visited Stonehenge too.
It was quiet and easy to access.
Fourteen different bird songs were recorded on my Merlin app including a owl. The rooks and jackdaws were most common and seeing large Red Kites overhead were amazing.
The showers were not available but hot water snd the sinks made up for it, Just what I needed for a short break, weather was fine too.

Beautiful site high in the Chilterns next to Wendover Woods. The facilities are quite good, though can get a little busy when the site is full on a Saturday night. Shower tokens are given to you when you arrive. There isn't much shade in the tent field.
Good walks through the woods, and walkable to the cafe in Wendover Woods (there is a parkrun there on Saturday mornings). Laura was extremely friendly and helpful.
This is one of our regular local sites, so we will be back.

Lovely clean site. Facilities clean. Another lovely few days in the quiet countryside, lovely views across the hills.
Plenty to do in the area, Wendover Woods literally a stones throw away.
Recommend West Leith Alpaca farm about a 1 1/2 miles away.
Wonderful, peaceful relaxing …lovely to see animals looked after with so much love.

A perfect little camp site.
Very friendly and attentive ensuring facilities clean and maintained.
One night stop with own tent so having the option to hire table, chairs, fire pit etc is a very pleasant option available.
If walking to site directions not clear and the road outside isn’t the safest to walk along as is used as a race track on occasions and is narrow in places!
(Should have asked possibly!)

That aside, I will definitely be staying there again at some point in the future. 🙂

Lovely small site in a great location for our trip and right next to Wendover Woods with its walking and cycling routes, Go Ape and cafe.
Lovely open aspect.
Toilets were like individual shower rooms with WC, basin shaver point. All well kept with soap and paper towels.
Very friendly and helpful owner.
We shall be back!

We had such a lovely stay in the bothy hut, the hut provided everything we needed.
Laura was absolutely lovely and so helpful, it was my partner birthday and valentines so I asked if she could help make it special, I got the birthday and valentines package which included the bothy hut being decorated for valentines and a birthday balloon, plus chilled proseco on arrival with a beautiful rose. We had an amazing night!
We will definitely be going back again. Thanks again Laura.

The site was clean and everything we needed was there.
Fantastic walks to both Wendover and Tring.

Lovely location, beautiful views, very friendly welcome,
Very quick responses to some initial queries that we had.
Toilets and showers clean and roomy.
Really couldn't fault it.
Very peaceful.

Great site. Peaceful well
Maintained. Good size fairly level pitches.
Clean amenities. Good TV. Fair Wi Fi.
