 We had a warm welcome from the reception.
The reception dealt with an issue we had with our
ACSI discount card very efficiently.
The site has a very popular restaurant for both campers and the local community.
We paid an extra €3 a night for a riverside pitch but the river was fenced off with no direct access. As a bonus we were plagued with small black flies for possibly being too close to the river. The river access is also very limited, a patch of bank about 20 metres long. This we thought was not really as described on their website. Also the dog walking direct off the site appeared to be very limited.
We had intended to stay for three nights but moved after two.
Would we stop here again? Probably not.

This is a very small campsite which we used for a couple of nights on our way south. English is spoken and the Dutch owner's wife is actually Scottish. We paid an extra 2 euros for a larger pitch, although they are all of a decent size. When we visited, some were still suffering the effects of the dreadful weather and looked pretty muddy. A couple were taped off. There are only a few electricity posts, so long leads are needed and the nearest post may be across the road. There is a pool, which is heated and has a sliding canopy. However, when we tried it it seemed very cold below the first couple of inches! There were only 2 showers in the central block. Although there are, I think, others near the pool. However, there was plenty of hot water and the showers had screens rather than curtains. Free wi fi, but only in the reception/bar area. The lunchtime menu seemed very popular with locals. Very cheap site (we paid 34 euros ACSI for 2 nights and this included the larger pitch and an extra dog). The village is walking distance, but we didn't go that far, so can't comment on the facilities. Dogs were walked on the pavement alongside the road until the path ran out.
