We stopped for 1 night on our way back to Caen and would recommend this site. Its a shame that when you google this site it comes up with another review saying 'avoid'. Don't avoid! the facilities are dated but clean and adequate, the staff friendly, pitches large, its quiet, next to a park/river, short walk into town and cost less than 20 euros. It looks like there are some workers/contractors staying there but I've found that's often the case with French municipals and its never been a problem. I wouldn't spend my holiday here but fine for a stopover.
