It was very windy the day we stayed, we had planned to go to the coast but decided it would be too risky. The site is under new management and they are just starting out so maybe next year I would give a better review.
There are tree stumps in the pitches so watch out when you're reversing. The facilities are very run down and the water in the showers was only just tepid, however this was remedied once the owners knew.
The pool was closed when we were there and the municipal was also closed. There are a lot of firemen on site, presumably they're there on a course(?) and I understand this is a regular thing.
There is woodland on the site and just outside and it was nice to walk around. The town is a five minute walk but there isn't a lot there.
I wouldn't stay again but there is potential there if the new owners work on it. Paid 20 Euros
Very nice campsite half way between Rennes and Nantes. Easy reach of motorway. This site is owned by a very friendly family. There's a choice of pitches, more organised down near reception or scattered up in the trees. The campsite is located about 15 minutes walk from a pleasant Breton Town. The supermarket is at the other side of town and is a little far to walk back to the site with bags of shopping, as we found out! The site has a bar, basic food restaurant with nightly entertainment run by the family - children's discos, family quizzes, etc. There's a pool and waterside. The pool is quite small, but if you want a proper sized pool- the municipal pool is just across the road. The thing that we enjoyed most about this site was the amazing expanse of forest beside the site. There were lots of paths for walking through the trees, with a lovely view over the valley down to a river once you found a clearing in the trees.
The owner gives you lots of ideas for things to do in the area, so it's well placed for day trips.
Our pitch was right beside the reception area so we could hear the entertainment loudly in the evening. Like most French sites, it stopped at 11pm and gave way to silence. Our children enjoyed the buzz in the evenings, so we didn't mind too much. If you do object to noise like this, then maybe this isn't the site for you. Overall, a nice family site, in a good location.
