 Friendly, peaceful and well run campsite set in an idyllic rural setting. Great facilities with clean showers and toilets and excellent laundry facilities.
The host is very friendly, personable, knowledgeable and a mine of local information.
The well stocked camping and caravan accessory shop on site is truly a blessing as well as reasonably priced gas bottle exchange.
I particularly love the fact that well behaved dogs are welcome!
If you are searching for a slice of peaceful rural England that is well within reach of a whole host of historic English cities, towns and hamlets, then this one is for you.
A thoroughly enjoyable stay all round. 10/10

We were pleased with this site. It has good facilities and EHU of course. £25 per night all in which is usual now.
Easy to find from the A11. Country roads from the west but plenty wide enough. Through Mildenhall going east, easy enough.
The town has fuel and a Sainsbury's
The site does not have hard standing but is quite well drained. Good customer service from Hermione.
We would use it again in winter.

Just back from a lovely two week stay here. The campsite is quite small and not overcrowded.
The pitches and the park are well kept and there are 2 toilet and shower rooms both of which have washing machines and tumble dryers available.
The owners are very friendly and helpful and on hand with advice and tips on the local area if you want it, the on site caravan spares shop came in handy too.
There are some lovely walks from the site and a nice local pub (Judes Ferry) in easy walking distance, Saturday night is a bit loud but the Sunday carvery is worth a try.
There is a very good butchers a 2 mile walk away up by the marina (TFM Butchers).
La Hogue farm shop is a must do as well.
We like the fast jets and Lakenheath and Mildenhall air bases are both nearby and offer a large variety of different aircraft spotting.
There are lots of local producers who have honesty boxes for there fruit and veg near by and a good village shop a short walk away.
I can't go and not mention the owners doggies who are very friendly and always up for fuss. I'm a dog lover and I had a soft spot for Georgia and she came to visit us regularly.
All in all we really enjoyed it here and will be booking again for next year if we can.

Great Campsite, we stayed for three nights and found it to be peaceful.
The facilities are great and the host is lovely.
The pitches are very level and the ground firm.
We will definitely be staying again.

My husband, I and our dog stayed for one night at the campsite
We found it very quiet and a good location for a pub meal in the evening with our dog.
They had washing machine and tumble dryer with the shower/ Toilet facilities which we didn’t need to use but very handy for a longer stay
Facilities could have been cleaner but equally were not the worst we have experienced
Overall our stay was good and booking was extremely easy as Hermione was very prompt with her response to our enquiries

We have just returned from a lovely weekend stay. Our pitch was massive! Leccy hook up & water at the pitch.
Toilet/wash area has everything you need to keep you going. We had a beautiful walk down to the river & up to the local pub.
My children 6 & 8, and my dog absolutely thrived off the outdoor space and we can’t wait to come back in warmer weather for a bit of wild swimming!
So many fish & swallows to watch. Local chip shop is open 12. 30-8pm so we had a chippy tea too along with Sainsbury’s just down the road.
Thanks for having us & we will be back very soon!

What a fantastic little site. 2 shower/ toilets, washing machines & tumble dryers.
There is an on site shop for camping emergency but we didn't go as weren't in need of anything.
The owner is lovely and helped us out with a phone when our network went down and we needed to make an urgent call.
Lovely walks down to the river and more. Great site if you have a dog.
The Chinese in the village was superb.
Site has everything you need, great value site fees, and will definitely be going back. Can't wait.

Nice, quiet little no frills site. Flat and well drained.
2 huts with toilet, shower and washing machine and drier. Huts are heated, with radiator.
Basic outdoor covered wash up area, which could be improved. Well stocked caravan / camping accessories shop.
Good value. £20 with EHU

Cant really fault the site, friendly owners, nothing too much of a problem.
I came here as all the other sites in the area were closed for the winter,
Will definitely make this site my go to site in the future. Strongly recommended.
