The owner of the site, Simon, really has done his research on what makes a good site and invested a lot of time and money into it. Easy access, good hardstand driveways to level, hardstanding pitches. The pitches have been well laid out to make the most of the view of surrounding countryside. A dog walk has also been specifically provided and there are other walks nearby. Walked to the village pub, The Woolpack, in Sutton Veny ( about 15-20 mins stroll). Great pub, friendly staff and locals, obviously very busy with food, especially on Sundays, which looked lovely.
Only stayed one night, would definitely return for a weekend which would not be a problem with no EHU. In a way, no EHU, could mean that pitches will become available more frequently, which at this excellent site, can only be of maximum benefit to many.
What a great little site. Easy access off the main road, all hard standing. No hookup but that was not an issue for us. The owner was most welcoming and gave us lots of information on the surrounding area. The best thing of all is the view, overlooking fantastic scenery. Will definitely return when we are in the area again
