 This site is located a couple of minutes walk from Flam. The site is very well kept with lovely flowers and trees amongst the pitches and even the motor home service point is all surrounded by flowers and plants. Most of the pitches are on terraces with electric, although there is not a huge amount of space between each motorhome. The toilet blocks are well maintained with a coin needed to operate the hot water in the showers. By the reception area is a little outdoor cafe serving snack food but this closes fairly early - 9pm I think.
The village of Flam has the railway, tourist info, ferries arriving and leaving to Bergen and a multitude of shops selling tourist goods. There are also quite a few restaurants. A very good base if you want to visit the railway or even just if you are passing through with lots of people only staying one night.
