 Lovely and quiet. Pub was very friendly staff and good food.
Loo only opens when pub is not a problem for us.
Will be back soon.
Electric hook up and water by your pitch.

Didn't stay the night in the car park, however great place or a stop over meal out.
Considering the Covid restrictions the service, staff and the food was excellent. Thank you Queens Head

First of all this pub seems to have a very good reputation so my review has nothing to do with the pub itself. However the campsite is totally unkempt. It was probably nice once and could be rescued.
I know we came in January but it was dry and the site has clearly not been looked after. Long grass, dead trees, overgrown sort of hard standing areas and the chemical emptying point was a health and safety nightmare. We stayed because it was late afternoon and we had nothing else booked. Paid £16- have paid less for a lot lot nicer - we would have eaten in the pub but decided they didn’t deserve any more of our money.
We did try to mention to the man who took the money that the chemical point was a bit grim etc but he was a nice guy really and I don’t think he was the landlord. Made our escape the next morning.
