 I seem to be the only one leaving a review for this site! But it is used by many British tourists from their car registrations I've seen.
I only use it as a stopover but since last year the toilet block at front of site has been modernised.
The access is not for the faint hearted and every year it doesn't get easier!
I would recommend this site and would use it again.

I returned to this site as I found it very pleasant last year.
The staff are very helpful and access to the site was no problem, even as the ferry docked 3 hrs later than planned!
I still cannot comment on the tavernas nor the beach as I arrived so late and had an early start.
I tried the other wash block and found that to be much better than the one at the entrance.
A very good stopover but I think the area is good for hiking as I spotted a couple of trails.

I visited this site for an overnight stay. It is about 1. 5hrs from Santander port. The site was very nice and had a choice of pitches. They are all a bit small especially if you intend to use an awning. The beach is very close and there are a couple of tavernas not far away. Although I did not try them.
If arriving from Santander leave the motorway at Jn 156 not 155 as I believe the approach to the site would be more difficult.
Leaving before 9am maybe a little difficult.
Toilets and showers are ok. Toilets have seats but no paper.
All in all I would use the site again and recommend as a stopover.
