We decided to stay at this site as we liked what had read in the reviews, we were not disappointed. Our first impression was that it was much more beautiful than the pictures posted on their website.
The site is owned and managed by a Dutch couple Frank & Tinika, both speak perfect English.
On arrival Frank came out to meet us and led us up to the house were we were offered drinks. We were then shown around the facilities which were perfect. Outside we had the choice of seven pitches, all overlooking the 5 acre lake. We quickly found a place that suited us.
This is what was provided: Very clean sanitation, perfect toilets and showers, lashings of hot water to wash your dishes, a washing machine & clothes dryer and a fridge freezer. Every other night if required a three course amazing meal, together with wine for a very good price.
Two canoes are provided together with a rowing boat, all free and perfect for on the lake. Mountain bikes are available for hire.
They do provide bed and breakfast facilities and they also had a gite, but can't comment as we only used the camping area.
We found a great supermarket close by in the town of Eymoutiers, very easy to find.
All in all a very, very nice campsite, so relaxing in nature
