The site is advertised as 2 Km from Sarlat. In practice it was closer to 2 miles so definitely not walking distance as the site is at the top of a hill.

Be aware that the access onto some of the pitches is very tight so we were very glad we had a motor mover fitted.

In mid September the bar and restaurant were both closed which was a disappointment given that the site was still quite busy and its remote location.

The site is very pleasant and the family owners are very helpful.

The town of Sarlat is well worth a visit but parking near the centre is very expensive. Park slightly out for free, and walk in would be our advise.
