Excellent campsite very clean and well looked after by friendly hosts.
Plenty of walks around the area, such as Dufton Pike and High Cup Nick which begin in nearby Dufton.
We visited the Mason Arms Pub, a 5 minute walk from the site and the food was excellent.

Well run site with level pitches, lovely views of the fells and close to excellent walks ie Dufton Pike and High Cup Nick.
Excellent clean and well equipped facilities and availability not a problem when quiet but imagine could be oversubscribed when the site is full.
Lovely warm welcome from Sam and Joanne.
Would definitely stay here again.

Really loved this site.
Nothing seems too much trouble for the owners. Facilities kept spotlessly clean.
It's definitely on our list of sites to go to again.

Lovely friendly site with fabulously clean facilities with little extra touches.
Joanne & Sam were very welcoming & helpful.
Stunning views of the Lake District fells.
There was a playground just down the lane which our children loved.

A lovely site, right at the end of a pretty village and only a couple of minutes walk to the local pub, which serves food and is dog friendly.
The pitches are well marked out and the facilities are the best equipped I've ever seen - particularly useful for those travelling light.
Sam and Joanne, who own the site, are both very friendly and keep the site clean and tidy.
There is a public footpath adjacent to the site, ideal for walking the dogs and a small playground on the village green to keep the children happy for a while.

Pretty, moderately secluded site, which accommodates most modes of camping or caravanning set-ups.
Received warm reception from owners throughout and Jo keeps this place looking spotless. The grass drainage is excellent. View of south and western horizon is spectacular. Very quiet and tranquil, which is unusual for Easter weekend. There are about ten hardstanding pitches, with grass for tents and awnings. There is a second field for those not needing hook-up.
The nearest pub, The Mason's Arms, is a mere five minutes walk to village. The food and customer service are exquisite. They do a great Sunday roast and have special events and different evening menus.
There are three spacious toilets, two of which house proper showers and small sinks with plenty hot water. If you travel lightly there is a refrigerator, microwave, kettle and toaster in the washing-up area, which is within the small oblutions hut, which and also has hot water. There are radiators in there. They even provide hand towels and washing-up liquid.
Pricewise, it is very reasonable, at £15 p/night including 16 amp electric. It's Showers are extra, at 20p for two minutes (the metre takes £1 or 20p coins).
We will definitely be returning, in the near future.

This site really is a hidden gem. Great views from the site over towards the Lake District mountains with the north Pennines behind you. Plenty of room around the site with excellent walks from the site.
A dog friendly pub with great food a few minutes walk away. The site has three toilets and two showers which are heated.
Site owners are very friendly and welcoming. Microwave and washing facilities are also there.
