The campsite itself is stunning - real old camping vibes, beautiful tent pitches - large and spread out enough for space.
We stayed one night on the sea front which was great but as the wind got up we moved into the campervan spaces on site for some protection.
Whilst we loved the campsite itself, for the money we paid (we also paid £25 for an early check in - glad we did, but as we were only 1 of 2 campers at the time, maybe a bit steep!), we would have expected soap in the toilet by the beach and a bin (as the ones on site had).
We knew the restaurant would be shut during our visit but were happy to patronise the cafe, which according to the website, was open most days.
We arrived Tuesday morning and left late Thursday morning and the cafe had not been open at all, so slightly disappointed!
I love meeting owners of campsites who are nearly always passionate about their site and give you more information about the area.
However on this occasion, we didn’t meet anyone from the site at any point. We were nearly run over by a high speed golf buggy…but the driver did apologise on their return journey!
These are very small niggles, but for the price we paid (£92 for 2 nights in June + £25 early check in) I think they’re worth noting.

One of the best sites I have ever been too. A real laid back, swallows and amazon vibe where kids play freely. A small stream, rope swings, dens to keep them busy.
Beautiful well spaced pitches and a lovely (though sometimes a bit smelly) beach nearby - watch the tide times.
The compost toilets are clean and the cafe provides lovely pastries in the morning. I'm looking forward to my 3rd visit this summer.

Our last night here and really don’t want to leave. One of the very best campsites we have stayed at.
Situated on the Llyn peninsula a couple of hundred metres from the sea. Gorgeous setting especially for the tent pitches.
Facilities are basic but adequate, only two showers but didn’t have to queue.
Owners are very friendly and walk round every night to check you are happy!
Food in the kitchen garden was on the pricey side however it was nice.
Would deffo recommend and we will be coming back.
