 Lovely secure campsite. Jess came over and introduced herself to us, friendly and helpful.
As we believe this is our last time camping altogether (due to ill health) we wish we'd have found this campsite a lot earlier in life!
Showers, toilets, washing up area all free to use, there's even a washing machine and dryer at a small cost if you wish to use them.
We will definitely recommend this site. Ideal for all ages

We love it here! There are many activities for young families, as well as plenty of nice walks for dog owners.
We have been here several times, and it is always clean, the staff are friendly, and the camp is respectful and quiet after 9 pm.
Toilets and wash facilities are basic but clean, and there are waste water points.
Very close to Bury St. Edmunds, where there is lots to do.

Site flat and open. Picnic table, water and electric (not metered) on pitch. Children's ? pirates play area one lane from us. No Children present during our stay.
Several choices of toilets and one shower area, as one shower unit was closed. Prefer to use van's shower. Good flush on loo.
Initial thoughts on site was it's a bit scrappy, but the lady owner was chatty and helpful, and they were tidying up for end of season, and I discovered the guinea pigs! Made my stay, feeding them morning and evening. On our last day felt I didn't want to leave as so relaxing.
Care needed on entry if from entry road from east, as roads converge, tight corner for long 'van, road from village is fine.

Great location. Big adventure playground to the side is a little noisy at times and another lodge is being built so there was machinery noise during day.
Plenty of porta cabin type showers and toilets with no heating (a bit tired looking) but there were a couple of showers (a bit tatty) inside a barn.
The site generally was a bit run down with different businesses/activities.
Pitches were open, fairly level grass, nicely mown and spacious with a picnic bench and water/ electric.
Owner was very friendly. £28 p night.
Pretty countryside. Close to ickworth NT, Bury 15 mins, Newmarket 15mins.

Small friendly site, flat pitches for our tent. Lots of toilets and showers, some indoor facilities and also outdoor. Julie the owner was always about to help with any queries we had, she was great, nothing was too much trouble.
The site felt very safe and perfect for children. Our two grandchildren and their dog came to see us one day and had a great time in the park and playing football with their grandad.
Perfect for walking to the village of Barrow about a mile away, which has two pubs serving good food There are two shops and fish and chip shop.
Easy to get to Bury St Edmunds we went by the country roads, took about ten minutes, there is also a bus service going into bury st Edmunds from Barrow.
Grounds around the Abbey and Cathedral are well worth a visit, plus lots of individual shops to browse. There is an Anglo Saxon village recreated on original site, in West Stow, which is close by.
Countryside views from our tent across the open fields were amazing, especially the sunsets.
Our only dislike was no cover over the outdoor washing facilities, if weather is wet, but never queued to use them, there is one undercover sink in camping hub, though.
We had a great time and would recommend.

Great little campsite with nice mix of rural rustic charm plus simple activities to keep whole family happy.
We stayed for three nights and made use of the mini golf, escape room and the deep tissue massage (at the gym).
Daughter also enjoyed a horse riding lesson from the stables a few mins walk up the road.
Outside toilets are a bit tired but the outside showers were great - huge shower heads and lots of hot water.
Made use of the firepits.
Chickens roam freely so we had to remain vigilant as our sighthounds were keen to get hold of them especially when they passed our awning.
We were in a motorhome and my sister and family stayed in the pod.
Staff were helpful and friendly.

Lovely, peaceful site with good sized pitches and plenty of clean toilets and showers.
Friendly site manager.
The fire pits were an added bonus.
Well located for walks and good pub food.

Being a small friendly site with rabbits, chickens and a small play and
Swings facility, this is a perfect place to take toddlers and upwards.
Pitches are flat and sizable.
In the village there are two useful store; also a really good playground on the Rec which is just round the corner from the Willows pub.

The Site was Fantastic, Clean Facilities
Loads to do for Children, or Families,
Or Just relax Beside your Camp area.
Loads of space on the Pitch we were on.
Loved it. The only thing Lacking Is Shop to get Milk and Bread, Basic Items. But there is in Barrow 1/2 mile Down the road.
Friendly Site Owners, who Go Out Of there way to help you with anything.
Would recommend to anyone who wants a good break away. A++*****
