Amazing campsite! Lovely helpful staff and owners.
We love it here and will most certainly be back!
My favourite part is the little coffee shop (an old converted caravan)

Very friendly welcome, allocated a hardstanding pitch near the entrance as we were only staying one night on our trip up to Scotland.
Loved the coffee pod and honesty box for the home made cakes.
Didn't have chance to visit the pub marquee but sounded like everyone was having a good time and all quiet by 10pm.
Good facilities and lots of little touches make this a very pleasant site.

Warm welcome on arrival, greeted by the smell of the food van. We had a hardstanding pitch which suited us. Had to use our 23L container to fill up but no problem. We arrived on the Sunday afternoon and many families were leaving, so was the food van. Mind you we were left with the beer tent, coffee pod and a good shop.
The site is relatively new, opened in 2019 and the owners certainly have plans including a bar at the entrance from a converted barn.
The pitches are huge and trees/hedges have been planted as borders to the pitches. The whole site is very exposed and open.
I did explore the lanes around on foot and are very quiet with the occasional tractor or van.
The facilities block is okay but could have been cleaner.
The recycling facilities and Ellsan and grey waste are in one area and clean and tidy.
A fantastic site and would return.

Lovely site, very well kept. The plots are huge.
The owners were so friendly to us newbies to touring.
They have advice sheets for setting up and for leaving so you don't leave anything or damage your equipment.
Great facilities overall. Definitely go back again this year.

Our 2nd stay at Apple Blossom campsite. It is a convenient location for our motorhome dealer, if we have any problems!
A well appointed site - we particularly appreciate the extra touches(Coffee caravan and pop-up bar, although this was not open on this visit) - and we always receive a friendly welcome.
Lovely meal at the Black Dog Camblesforth.
Will definitely visit again

What a brilliant campsite. We don’t normally venture to East Yorkshire but due to a lack of availability where we normally go we thought we’d give this campsite a go and I’m glad we did.
Great, large, flat pitches (the area is the flattest place I’ve ever been)! Kids all playing at the playground together. A pub (in a tent) on site was a huge unexpected bonus. Coffee trailer with honesty box was also a lovely touch. The pizzas on Saturday night from a pizza van were delicious. We spent more money than intended because of these extras but it’s a great value campsite anyway so that didn’t matter.
Not sure how much there is to do in the immediate area but there’s plenty by car. Only 1 shower in the ladies and men’s could be a problem if very busy but it wasn’t a problem for us.
Main bonus is it felt really relaxed. We like to listen to some music and have a few drinks around the fire and there are rules which everyone kept to but it didn’t feel really strict like some campsites do and everyone was there to have fun. Us adults loved it and the kids loved it too.
Only a 50 minute drive for us in NW Leeds so we’ll definitely return when we want a quick weekend away somewhere.
