Felt safe and secure. Jimee was lovely and made sure my lovely spot was kept for my whole stay.
The stay was peaceful, safe, and absolutely gorgeous.
Pay for washing and shower but no problem as so clean and nice. Cooker kettle and use your own pots.
Cannot fault it at all!

Really good site and at £20 per night not that expensive when you see what you get.
Fully equipped kitchen with cooking and washing up facilities.
Washing machine, tumble drier and showers on meters but £1 lasts for ages.
Recommended.

Lovely site which is part of a marina. Excellent facilities.
Close to Lerwick.
Quite windy and dark when we arrived.
Very clear and easy to follow instructions in the building.
Good time during our visit.

Lovely site by a marina. Showers and other facilities were great.
An easy booking system and payment suited to these times.
Would stay longer if there was a next time, but used the site mainly as a stopover for the ferry.

We Very much enjoyed out stay here. The site was in a very scenic location.
The facilities were excellent and the voluntary warden very helpful. Our advance booking was efficiently dealt with.
It is worth noting that the showers are operated by inserting £1 coins.

A newish site associated with a small marina, mostly hard standing with EHU, chemical disposal, taps on EHU bollards. Communal kitchen/dining/ laundry area, showers £1 in the slot gives a decent period of time - probably enough for two people. All very clean when we were there, community - run, £20 per night with an honesty box if no - one is about.
Only 8 miles from Lerwick, and handy for attractions in South Mainland of Shetland, but you will have to drive to reach a shop or pub; shop beforehand, and relax!
We were able to watch up to 5 seals at a time playing in the bay; the site is quiet, and being able to hear skylarks, curlew and even a snipe calling from a fence post 10 yards away was a delight. Wild flowers in profusion in the hay meadows and waysides.

Site is approx 10 miles South of Lerwick, well sign posted from main road (don't use post code on Sat Nav). About 2 miles off main road, site is at the marina.
It's a fairly new site, all the pitches are hardstanding on tarmac (no grass areas between). Seems every other space is a pitch so caravans would have next space for car (you couldn't pitch an awning as taarmac). Ehu on each pitch and drinking water tap on the rear of the post.
The facilities building houses toilets and showers, showers take £1 for roughly 8 minutes, good and hot and very clean. There is a camper kitchen type area with table, chairs, microwave, and washing machine / dryer.
The location is well away from the roads so very peaceful. The only walking we found was around the lanes which were almost traffic free. People came and went on the marina working on boats, so although only us and one other van there never felt isolated. Nearest shop approx 5 miles away.
They operate an honesty box so you pay for nights stayed £20 including electricity.
Someone from the site did call down and check we were ok, its run by local community. A very peaceful and tranquil site that could make a great base for exploring the islands. We stayed one night and moved on as heading onto another area.
