We chose this campsite from the ACSI book whilst looking for an overnighter in the area. It is quite easy to find on a main road not far from the seaside.
The receptionist was efficient, allocated us a pitch and took the payment, then almost as an afterthought asked for another 20 euro for a card to open the barrier, which was opposite.
Once inside, the campsite didn't appeal particularly, it is laid out as a grid with long straight roads. Lots of statics nearest the entrance with a touring area towards the back, where the sanitary block is. Some trees for shade, and grassy flat pitches.
The sanitary block was nice and clean and the water was hot.
The swimming pool is quite small, situated across from reception. No changing facility or toilet there, so a long way to walk back with wet swimmers.
We cycled into the town, not too far, with a few shops there. We picked up a riverside cycleway which led back to the back of the campsite, with steps leading down to a gate. We expected to have to use the card to unlock the gate, but it wasn't locked, despite the concern about security at reception.
Although it was perfectly ok, we didn't really take to this site, and would probably choose a different one another time.
