 This was mainly a long-stay site, like many another strewn along the Costas. We paused there over Christmas and New Year, at the ACSI Card price of 21 Euros a day including 4 kWh of electricity plus a very modest cost for more.
The WiFi was good at first, until it stopped working altogether after a week. Reception expressed surprise and did nothing!
The facilities are old but functional, with a good laundry and book swap, though the washing up sinks have to share a single hot tap (bring your own bowl)!
Locks on the toilet and shower doorknobs were loose and ill-fitting, leading to one of us being locked in for a while. There was only one place to fill a motorhome with water and that was at the very top of the site next to the car wash.
The steep hillside and unlevelled terraces meant that everybody needed ramps, airbags or jacks. Pitches are generally too small and often overhung by trees – so much so that we had to change the allocated pitch and find our own, as many others were doing.
The expensive a la carte restaurant actually closed over Christmas, and the site supermarket remained shut. The nearest supermarket is Dia, about 1 km towards Conil.
There was very good cycling from the site, with separate bike paths starting just outside the gate: left for Conil, Cape Trafalgar and beyond to Canos de Meca (about 20 km each way), as well as riding in the other direction past Conil lighthouse to Chiclana. Conil de la Frontera itself is a nice town with the impressive Cathedral Santa Catalina (Saint Catherine of the Wheel), part of a 1567 Franciscan monastery whose cloisters now house the town hall.

Large site with all the amenities you would need.
Shop, bar/restaurant (didn't use) Large Pool (closed before May) kids entertainment, gym, sauna, launderette, 24hr security.
Pitches reasonably private with hedges and small walls,
Lots of toilet and shower blocks, all spotlessly clean, very hot showers.
The only thing I dislike was the location. Its a 30 minute walk to either the beach or the town.

Mostly spacious individual pitches surrounded by hedging or walls.
Toilets/ showers very clean. 7 minute timer on shower was plenty long enough.
Nice town and beach. Campsite is on hill on the edge of town. Half hour walk to beach.
We drove to Cadiz from here and parked near the port for 6 euros. Very easy. It is a lovely city, well worth a visit.

Well appointed site on a hill about a mile outside Conil. Pitches are sloping and covered in gravel. Nice high hedges between. There are also some nice looking bungalows at the top of the site. 2x laundries large car / van wash. Pool was closed. Kids playground & outside gym equipment. There's a library that was popular.
We've just spent 3 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The site is almost full of over - wintering older northern Europeans, some return every year. There is a good restaurant and bar open 6 days a week through the winter.
Shop is only open 9 - 12 and has limited stock (may be winter hours) there are supermarkets within a mile. We walked every day, the beach is about 1. 5 miles away with bars and restaurants aplenty.
We caught a bus to Cadiz from the town bus station (camp reception staff supplied a timetable which was a lifesaver!) The camp site organised a bus trip to Sevilla which was great. There weren't enough takers for a Gibraltar trip which was disappointing.
Toilets and showers (4 blocks in total) are kept spotlessly clean, plenty of hot water. Timer on the showers - 7 minutes, nice big cubicles.
Usual nocturnal Spanish cacophony of cockerels & dogs - plus owls (which I don't mind). Earplugs essential.
Takes ACSI but their rate is just as good, gets cheaper the longer you stay but you have to pay for electricity.
The area is prone to be quite windy which affects temperatures.
Would definitely return.
