 This site is ideal for an overnight stop when traveling on the M5 which is a very short, easy drive away.
The location is very pleasant next to fields with cows and horses.
It is on a marina and work starts on the boats at around 7am so if you like a lie in choose a pitch at the far end
The pitches are very spacious hard standings of a gritty gravel type. All have water taps, grey water drains and 16amp electric.
There are two cubicles each with a shower and toilet. These were clean and the shower hot. The site was quiet when we stayed so no problem getting a shower but not sure if 2 are adequate if site full.
There is no public transport anywhere near but good walks and cycle rides alongside the canals. The Eagle and Sun pub was an easy walk either along the towpath or via the farm track at the top of the site. Either way us only about 10 minutes. The pub has a garden on the canal side and great food every day except Monday. We had a carvery and fish and chips both very good. Probably advisable to book on a Sunday as we turned up and it was full but they kindly squeezed us in.
The other way along the towpath takes you into the town of Droitwich Spa which has a nice little park alongside the canal, and open air swimming pool but, sadly, not much else to commend it.
The high street looks very run down but there is Sainsbury's and Waitrose if you need to stock up on supplies. It took us about 30mins walk each way.
All in all a pleasant site with decent facilities for an overnight stop or a couple of days at a very reasonable price of £28

A very grateful break to journey from Somerset to Norfolk.
Very clean site and very helpful staff on site.
The cost was very much lower than staying in a hotel.
Lovely walk near the site along the canal.

Stop off on way south, close to motorway which was what we wanted, but felt like we were in the countryside.
Good size pitch, site quiet.
Only two toilet/ shower units but most people probably only stay one night.
Lovely 20 min walk into town, where we ate.
Lovely and would use again

Booked and paid online and received email confirmation with all details and pitch number.
When we arrived we called into reception (open 10-4) and could not have received a better, friendlier or more helpful welcome.
We stayed on the caravan site (not the CL they are within a few yards of each other). Massive hardstanding pitches with grass areas that are even bigger between pitches. Water, electric and grey drain on every pitch.
Everything- including facilities is kept immaculately.
Took us 15 minutes along the canal into Droitwich Spa. A good selection of shops and a couple of supermarkets.
Plenty of off road footpaths and of course canal path from site for walking.
Saturday there is a large carboot at the marina. Just outside marina gates is Rugby club with bar, food etc.
Really can't find anything not to like - would highly recommend and at £27 a night including electric is a bargain.

We arrived early and were allowed to set up as designated pitch was available.
We went for a lovely walk along the canal into town and had a Papa John pizza for lunch.
On returning to site we hooked our EHU (no trouble at all) and settled in.
This site was a stopover on our journey and it is perfect for that. Small noise from M5 but slept soundly.
Facilities - the toilet/shower pod was clean and very warm - perfect, however, as we have a small VW campervan without sink, I would have liked somewhere to wash up, perhaps a lean to on the side of the pod with a couple of sinks? Probably not an issue for most as they generally catered for larger motor homes.
I would recommend!

First visit of the year to this lovely site. Warm welcome upon arrival(was a little early but allowed on as pitch was available.
This site has everything whether you want a short stopover or a complete holiday break as its only 10 minutes (literally) from j5 on M5,
So many places to visit within easy driving distance and a steady 10 minute stroll along the towpath into Droitwich Spa historical town famous for Salt!

Perfect location for National Trust Hanley Hall and only a few minutes from the M5.
Spacious pitches with power, water and drainage.
Sadly no washing up area and only 2 combined shower/toilets.
Very friendly welcome and loads of footpaths.
A pleasant stroll along the canal to the nearest pub.

Stayed on this site, our first CL, on the way up to the Lake District and on the way back.
Excellent directions to the site when you book and easy access from the M5 (junction 5).
15 hardstanding pitches all fully serviced with 16amp EHU, water and waste.
2 shower/basin/wc 'pods' also on site both always clean and very handy.
Elsan point and bins (no recycling). £25 a night. Friendly check in both times.
Easy walk into Droitwich Spa which is a lovely town with literally everything you could need.
Waitrose supermarket, pubs, restaurants, cafe's and loads of takeaways.
We ate in the Old Cock Inn (oldest pub in town) on the Friday night (pie night - £7. 50 bargain!).
Plenty of walks along the canal for a bit of gongoozling! Closest pub to the site is a short walk up a couple of lanes and sits right on the canal. Didn't eat there but did enjoy a pint sat outside overlooking the barges and stroll back along the towpath back into the Marina.
We loved it here and will definitely use again when we're heading north.

Very good directions to site making it easy to find from the M5, however we approached from the opposite direction and it was still very easy to find. Access was fine with wide gate and driveway. The short entry road from the main road was a little narrow but presented no difficulty.
There were two combined shower and toilet with handbasin and heating on site. Ample soap and toilet paper was provided together with an excellent powerful hand dryer. Didn't use the shower but plentiful hot water at the handbasin.
Mobile coverage on O2 and EE was 4G with good signal strength and ID (3 Network) was a little slower.
There was a shop in the Reception area for the Marina.
Within about a mile of the site is a Waitrose, several takeaways including Pizza / Kebabs, Fish and Chips, Chinese (very good) and Ghurka restaurant / takeaway serving similar menu to Indian. (this was excellent - I had a takeaway). These were a brisk walk away. I didn't notice a bus stop at the site.
The pitches were generous, hard standing and flat with good electricity supply and wasn't metered.
TV reception was good. There was road noise from the nearby M5 but we didn't find this excessive. There was no children's play area at the site. The area is also good for walking and cycling along the canal.
Droitwich Spa is a pleasant market town with an interesting town centre.
A little further away there was an Aldi - this wasn't walkable for us.

Booked to stay at this site as it was close to where a friend's wedding was to take place and we just wanted the convenience of not having to travel too far to the wedding venue. The site exceeded our expectations.
All the staff at the site were exceedingly friendly and helpful.
Nothing was too much trouble and our stay was made all the better for the warm and friendly welcome that we received.
We will definitely go back to this site and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for or thinking of staying at a site in Droitwich/ near to Worcester and the M5 motorway.
