A warm welcome from helpful owners who are keen to maintain a high standard in the facilities of this CL site.
Pleasant outlook from all pitches with fields and woodland nearby and private carp pond on site (no fishing).
Easy access to Uckfield by car but walking the lanes not recommended as cars driven fast through bends.
Nearby Lake Wood with rocks and caves and Sheffield Park with lakes and gardens well worth a visit.
Access to main footpaths from site enabled us to enjoy some local walks but nearby Isfield is a good walking area.
Lovely stay and highly rated as a CL.

We loved this site which is in an idyllic setting, a real get away from it all stay, but only 15 minutes from the A272.
The hosts were perfect and we had some interesting chats with them.
The Peacock Pub (16th century) is well worth a visit or two for good food. It's within walking distance of the site.
We enjoyed letting our dog run free in the nearby West Park and Lake Wood, nature reserve. There's also a couple of footpaths which can be found within about 5 minutes walk of the site (one across fields to the River Uck and the other on the opposite side of the road).
This is a members only Camping and Caravan Club Certificated Site so it's small (maximum 5) and provides electric hook up, water and waste disposal, as you would expect.
I would definitely recommend this site.

We have been to this site once before and enjoyed it this time just as much, very friendly owners and luxurious well kept grass.
The peacock pub serves very good food but the walk back up the hill gets your heart pumping but well worth the climb,
We would recommend this site for a relaxing quiet break

Lovely site, very pleasant surroundings, easy to find, nice place to relax, hosts were very helpful, electric hook up was fine.
This was our first trip in our motorhome, so a bit of a test, but all ok.
Only put 5 for facilities, as only hook and waste disposal on site

Nice location with good walks near by. Plenty of space if you get the right pitch which we did.
Basic amenities but everything we needed. Very nice owners who were very accommodating.
Nice pub within easy walking distance.
You could hear the main road in the evening and early morning and helicopter near by so not as quiet as the surroundings suggested it could be.
Did have open water which we needed to keep our 3 year old away from, owner did suggest they were getting a fenced erected.
Enjoyed our stay though.
