Great basic campsite. With games room and a BBQ hut. Toilet and shower block are very clean.
Would be an improvement to have warmer water in the showers along with a sink! Hot water at the pot wash would also be helpful as would tents being further away from the noisy road!
All that said Phil is a fantastic host and the campsite is only a year old with lots of improvement happening all the time.
It is quiet, friendly and relaxing with nice walks and lots to see and do around the area.
The duck pond and kids play area is great as well as the laid back attitude.
Dog friendly too with a burger/ breakfast van and a gin Bar. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Sometimes it is good to go back to the simple basics in life!

This was out first weekend away to try out our Pennine Pathfinder and we wanted a site close to Longleat.
This site is a great base and whilst the facilities were basic they were clean.
The shower was an experience, two halves of large water containers put together.
Looking this year a proper show has been built.
The owner was friendly and so was the campsite cat
