 We booked this site primarily for it's location: close to a beach and coastal path, with a bar/restaurant on site, and as a good base for exploring Anglesey. The access with a caravan was very easy as it's only a short way off the coast road (there's no road noise).
Our fully serviced pitch (No 4) was allocated on arrival and was a little on the snug side and had a slight slope - actually the grey waste drain was uphill. It was just about wide enough for our standard width caravan and 2. 5m wide awning, so we parked our car in the hotel car park.
This wasn't too much of an issue for us, but some people may find the pitches a little crammed together. That being said, the pitches are arranged in three different areas and surrounded with mature trees/hedging, giving a cosy & sheltered feel as well as some shelter from the 40mph+ winds we experienced. The hotel grounds are big enough to find somewhere to sit outside, if the weather permits, and there are picnic benches scattered around. Our pitch backed on to the children's play area, but that didn't bother us.
We had a couple of meals in the hotel restaurant, which has a dog friendly area, and the food was great and was a reasonable price. On a sunny evening, it was nice to enjoy a drink on the sheltered terrace with views over the bay (and the distant Wylfa power station!) as the sun went down.
Can't comment on the showers as we didn't use them, but the toilets were clean. The Elsan point could have used a clean, but I've seen worse. Rubbish & recycling are shared with the hotel.
On the approach road to the hotel is a farm with self-service vending machines for fresh local milk, which is delicious.
Cemaes Bay itself is quite picturesque, the sandy beach & harbour are lovely, the high street has a reasonable chippy, a Morrisons Daily and a couple of pubs. There's a kiosk at one end of the beach that sell wonderful homemade pizzas.
Other places we enjoyed visiting on Anglesey were the Parys Mountain Coppermine trail, Rhosneiger, the South Stack Lighthouse and also Beaumaris with it's castle, high street and views over the Menai Straits.
Pitch fees are on the pricier side, but for a fully serviced pitch and for the site location I suppose they're fair.
Would we return? Yes

Decent hard standing pitch with fresh water and electric.
Sheltered position and none of the 15 pitches are far from the small facilities block ( 2 loos and a shower in men’s and ladies) which were immaculate though chilly.
Lovely views.
Friendly staff in the hotel restaurant and bar and varied menu. Lots of outside space for sitting, play area for children and room to run and explore interesting stone structures in grounds.
Choice of walks into Cemaes and a fascinating walk to very old chapel dedicated to St Patrick.
If the weather was better we would have explored further.
Not a cheap site but well worth it for a few nights.

Only 1 Shower. The pitches were small and uneven. No washing facilities.
The food in the pub was poor I got a lamb curry, the lamb was dry and hard they gave me some curry sauce to put on it ?

Great small site in the grounds of the hotel. Very clean toilet and shower block, well supplied with roll and soap.
Quick walk through field with private access gate to beach front - need torch as pitch black after sunset.
Playground on site. Pitches are not very big. Campfires allowed as long as raised. Dog allowed in the hotel bar and restaurant and the food was lovely.
Great friendly staff. Camaes is small but has 3 other pubs/ bars/ restaurants. Lovely small friendly cafe on the main street.
Well stocked butcher and a craft shop with beautiful hand made items from local people along with some used items.
Dogs allowed on the beach out of season but there are more beaches along the cliff walks for when visiting in season.
Price of site a little high in our view at £27. 50 ( plus £2 for dog)/ night, as we usually pay a lot less on other sites but with a lack of all year round sites there’s not much choice.

Quite a nice little site in close proximity of Cemaes which has plenty of eateries and pubs.
The restaurant at Gadlys is excellent and very busy.
The pitches are a little on the tight size and quite expensive at £35 a night, the grass pitches had more space than hard standing.
Walking from the site is great as you join the Wales coastal path at the headland.

Nice site with good clean facilities. We used the restaurant/bar and food was lovely.
The bar area in particular is quite quirky and modern and we enjoyed an afternoon drink there.
Great location for access down to the beach and town. Short walk through the field.
The beach is lovely but not a lot in the town - so would definitely recommend booking a table at the restaurant in advance as didn't seem many other places walkable to eat.

Lovely site with beautiful views and a short walk into Cemaes bay over the fields. Not hilly either.
Friendly staff in all areas.
Shower block clean.
Restaurant although a bit pricy was incredible! Food lush.

Great wee place. Very quiet which was good👌
Wee bit windy on the coast. Don't let that put you off staying.
