This is a bit of an oddity in that it is used for Scouts and groups, but also open to the public at times. It has an outdoor (unheated!) pool and loads of activities that are very reasonably priced. It is Robin Hood country and there lots of things to do nearby, in addition to the activities on site.
The price of the pitch was a bit steep - £45 for one night including child, pup tent & dog, but no EHU. Facilities were basic but functional, it is a large site so there is a bit of a walk. We have stayed with Scouts and the facilities are fine for that, but for £45 it is a bit rough and ready.
The staff are lovely and helpful. We stayed on the bank holiday weekend and it was very noisy until late in the evening, but if you have kids and are part of a group it probably won't bother you.

Ideal for a well chilled out campsite or full of activities if decided to use the activities on site.
Only downside was the number pitches wasn't clearly marked. Disks was buried in the grass, would have been ideal if on raised markers.
Spent 10 minutes driving around and asking what pitch number people was on.
Will come back though for definite

Great Site loads of space, should note it is also a scout site so you will be sharing with scout groups depending on when you visit.
Lots to do locally and a small bar / restaurant on site doing basic food.
There is also a small shop that sells the basics as well.
Nice walks locally too.
