 My partner and I stayed at this site, whilst a few other friends from our motorbike club also joined on adjacent pitches as an alternative to staying in the hotel up the road where the rest of the club were having an event.
This is a fantastic site with some of the best facilities I think I've ever seen on a campsite.
Our EHU campervan pitch was near the immaculate toilet block which has private shower and toilet rooms with your own key for an additional charge. But the communal one is spotlessly clean and very modern. I also quite like the 90s playlist that runs perpetually in there!
Since some of our friends were in a Yurt we got to see those too. Massive, clean, dry and warm. You sit in there for while you forget you're essentially in a tent. Then the wood fired hot-tubs on some of the plots take a few hours to heat, but are delightful to use once they're up to temperature.
If the hot tub alone isn't enough, the hotel and spa a 10 minute walk away has spa facilities, and a great bar that the public can use.
The site is a brilliant base for exploring nottinghamshire and the counties around it, and the adjacent road is dead quiet overnight and not that busy in the day.
Worth noting there's no shop or laundry on this site. Not a complaint. Just something to note. So pick up your supplies en-route.
Would absolutely return to this site. Lovely to stay at.

Glamping site with hot tubs and immaculate private showers/toilets open April to Oct only.
Caravans only allowed Nov to March as a CL Carava n/ Motorhome Club Members and offers VIP (hot tub) with electric and water or just a Electric hook up if its all you require.
Mick the owner and his Daughter Gina was very friendly and helpful, explained everything in detail and local area/walks etc. ,
Chesterfield Canal a short walk away which we walked into Retford for the day and had a lovely few drinks in the local pub on our return Ye Old Blue Bell and although they don't allow dogs in the pub you can sit in the heated enclosed area outside.
Lovely site not too far from home for a relaxing weekend away.
