This is a peaceful, well thought out site with plenty of hot water for the showers and washing dishes. The compost toilets are well stocked with toilet rolls, sawdust and hand sanitiser.

The owner Carol comes around daily to welcome new arrivals and to check that everything is ok.

The extras such as USB charging points a freezer for ice blocks and a bell tent for reading / children to play were nice touches.

The pitches are enormous so you have plenty of space and on arrival you can choose which one to use. The site was very quiet at night. You could hear a faint him from the motorway in the background during the day, but it was often hidden by birdsong.
