Stayed here in the summer mainly for the excellent travel links by rail and bus.
The booking of pitches for awnings or non awnings is a but confusing is a wind out canopy and awning?
The facilities are well managed and kept,
The access is poor if you have a long motorhome the back will catch on the road when you navigate the last junction and when you turn into the entrance to the site.
Surrounded by houses not much view from pitches
There is not much to do in the town and it looks very run down

Really lovely site. Clean and has all facilities.
Janet welcomed us and showed us our pitch, lovely, friendly and informative.
No dog walk yet but they are working on one. There are plenty of places and beaches for walking dog. Our wonky rescued dog loved it.
It is a steep incline to get vans in ours is a bessacar 8 meter van and we were OK. A bonus for us is that it's adult only as like I say we have a wonky rescue dog who gets wound up easily.
All in all lovely friendly site, nice area. I would recommend and we would return.

We stayed here for two nights, two of us and our two dogs. Lovely and peaceful site. Perfect facilities.
Showers were very warm and clean, the radio playing which I loved, as your showered. Washing up facilities also.
There is a huge wall of takeaway menus and leaflets of places to go.
The recycling was also very good and clean.
We shall definitely be choosing to stay here next time we head to North Wales

Superb site- exceptionally high standard of facilities and everything was immaculately clean.
All level, hard standing pitches with privacy hedges so you feel secluded.
Location is brilliant for Zip World sites and stunning walks around the local town.
Great value for money.
I would definitely recommend and will be booking to stay here again.

Glanllyn is situated on the shore of Lake Bala in Wales. 16 acres of natural parkland and spectacular views of nearby hills and mountains make it an idyllic spot to pitch a caravan, motorhome, tent or campervan with level grass or hardstanding pitches. For water sports enthusiasts there is a private shingle beach with easy launching area for windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding. This is a lovely site, nice spacing and modern toilet block.
Just a shame the village is a little quiet and many shops seemed to be shut or closed.
I highly recommend the site but it seems a shame that the village seems is a little neglected.

Compact adult only 15 pitch site so all facilities are very close by, lady comes out to meet you when you arrive.
All pitches are gravel hardstanding.
Dogs are welcome but no doggy walk only the road.
Have read elsewhere hilly and very narrow to get to so not suitable for v large units yes that's correct, but for normal access the road is only a few hundred yards.
Ten minute easy walk into BF with railway, buses, cafes, shops and pubs.
Enjoyed my stay.
