 Mainly privately owned statics with just 7 Motorhome pitches all of which are near the site entrance.
Site owner and also the caravan owners all very friendly.
Excellent loos, showers and laundry which are only for use by the Motorhome pitches (entry by key)
Banchory has a number of eating places within a very easy walk. Bus stop 5 min walk. Aberdeen one way, Balmoral the other.
Owner messaged me on arrival day to ask if we wanted a sunny or shaded pitch, I was very grateful to choose a shaded pitch as it was very hot.
Directly next to the river and approx half a mile walk to a waterfall.
Only downside, no view but I'd still give it an 11 if I could!

I found the owners very helpful and friendly.
Site was fully booked but they accommodated me in their yard( even moving their own car to get me in)
Beautiful settings and probably one of the tidiest landscaping.
Toilet looked new and spotless.
Very close to town.
Great stay!

What I liked about banchory lodge is everything
Toilets and showers were spotlessly clean
The pitches are well maintained and the wardens are very friendly
It's the best kept campervan park I've ever been on

They take MoHos now!
We passed this site last year on our way to Balmoral and thought it would be a lovely place to stay.
We booked the site as we headed North to the NC500.
We were not disappointed, the Wardens are very friendly Geordies, they could not do enough to help us. We were allocated a pitch right on the bank of the River Dee and there were no midges!
The facilities on the site are excellent, second to none, the location is great, what more could we want?
We would thoroughly recommend this site as it is one of the best we have stayed on in 30 years caravanning & Motorhoming.
