I enquired using the form on here and got a swift reply letting me know the price and that they had availability and they would phone me to take the booking and collect payment, which they did and within minutes of booking all details came through including the gate codes, etc.
The site is as before, large, flat, pitches separated by hedges with a toilet and shower at the top of the site. Al pitches come with electric and water points and bins are at the end of the field.
Due to very little light pollution, the night sky was just awesome.
Great for kids as lots of space to run and play.
My comments from before still stand, and this is a great site to come and chill or spend time your friends.
Prices was £20 per night for 2 adults, the dog and electric, great value.
A return trip for me, but this time with my grandson
They responded quickly to the email enquiry sent from here and before long I was all booked in and ready to go.
On arrival no one was around but this was not an issue, they have a machine by the electronic gate where you punch in your booking reference, it prints your entry ticket and away you go. There is a bar code on the ticket which you need to scan to open the gates on entry and exit.
The field was the same as last year, it was flat, large and the pitches divided up by shrubs / trees which have grown more than last year offering further privacy.
Each pitch had electric points and taps were every few pitches. Down the far end was the chemical waste point and the single toilet and shower block.
The toilet was very clean and did not have a sink, but had plenty of loo roll and hand san and taps dotted all around if needed. The shower was next to the toilet and was a power shower, was more than hot enough and the head and temp was adjustable. There was no shower curtain, but the room was huge and my clothes hanging on the door did not get any water on them.
There are bins at each end of the field for general waste etc.
This time we walked around the fishing lakes and although I am not into fishing, lots of people were and we did spot loads of fish swimming around, so presume fishing is good too.
Dogs are welcome, but you cannot walk them around the lakes, but there are loads of options for walking around the site anyway including the huge Biggleswade Common which we discovered this time. You have to cross a stile to get there, but when you do it is huge with loads of space for the dog to run free.
Nearby shops and pubs all still around although we were only one night so did not need them.
Decent access direct from the A1M, but if you are coming from the South, I would suggest going up to the next roundabout and coming back down. If you try to use the cut through from the South across the A1 you may struggle if in a large unit or with a caravan as the small access road is quite thin.
Loads of space for little ones to play in the field and at just £20 per night for the campervan including hookup I will use this site time and time again.
I phoned as needed a booking for the next day and the response was very helpful, told me all about the site, nearby towns etc. and asked me to book online through their website if staying, which I promptly did and booked two pitches for one Sunday night.
On arrival I was met with the same fella and he was very friendly and zapped me in and ensured I knew how the ticket scanning worked for entry and exit. He explained where the camping area was and the facilities and left me to it.
After driving past a couple of dishing lakes I came across the campoing field. I was most impressed, it was flat, large and the pitches divided up by shrubs / trees.

The site consists of loads of fishing lakes and you will get your anglers staying overnight too around the lakes. They gave us no bother at all, in fact we barely knew anyone else was there.

Nearby there is a Tesco in Beeston and then in Biggleswade you have Sainsburys, all large retail park with Wilkos, Mountain Warehouse and loads more. Quite a few decent pubs in Biggleswade too, plus a MacDonalds for that quick fix.
Due to the location close to the A1 you can hear a gentle hum from there, but it did not intrude on us at all. However the best benefit is it is right off the A1, meaning access is very easy and perfect as a stop over if travel up or down the country.
Loads of space for little ones to play in the field and at just £18 per night for the campervan including hookup I will use this site time and time again.
