A wooded site with flat pitches on the edge of Sarria.

Nice welcome and clean facilities. There’s a restaurant on site which we didn’t use as only had an overnight stop.

If you are planning to make a sharp exit the following morning then it’s best to pay the night before as the office doesn’t open early.

From Sarria we took the b roads over the mountains to Astorga which passed through towns and villages and the route intersected by the Camino trail.

Absolutely stunning scenery and journey though not recommended for caravanners.

We took our motorhome which fortunately had good brakes and clutch!
