The CL is conveniently positioned for both trips into the countryside & Glasgow. We used it as a base when visiting the Commonwealth Games.

There are a number of local stations with parking and trains to Edinburgh & Glasgow.

It is easy to find being close to the motorway but is located in a secluded, rural location.

There are generously sized flat pitches with electricity & water close by.

We would definitely stay at Barbeth again.

Really lovely site in a pretty setting.

Easy access from motorway makes it perfect for a short stopover on the way to the highlands.

We are staying again on our way home and would certainly recommend it.

A great little find just off the M73 but no road noise and feels a million miles away from anywhere.

We too couldn't find the owners - they don't live in the farm house, they live in the cottage to the right.

Hardstanding pitches with electric- some slightly sloping. Chem waste and fresh water at the entrance.

There is a rustic toilet which was clean and serviceable.

Very peaceful and overlooking farmland. You definitely need a car to visit anywhere as its very rural.

At £18 per night with electric for 2 adults it's an absolute bargain and we will use as a stopover when next in the area. That said would make a great base for a few days for the area.

Had a stopover on this site and was a little apprehensive because of a previous review which complained about not being able to find the owner and not finding the toilet. I needn't have worried.

The toilet was easy to find and the site itself was well kept and up to the standard that I would want from a farm CL.

The owner wasn't around but that was because they were at a wedding.

Would happily return.

Loved this little CL on a working farm. Very peaceful. EHU, toilet, just the one.

No noise from the main road to Glasgow or the industrial site up the road.

If you love peace and quiet and farm animals then you will love Barbeth Farm.

We will definitely use this when we next go to visit relatives in Scotland.
