The owner Nick and Jo are really welcoming. Amenities include cute clean washing up area, useful info boards, small shop, oodles of firewood, food bins and options for recycling.
On the pitch there are compost toilets, a warm shower and covered area to escape any rain. We were treated to a wonderful morning chorus, bats playing in the evening and Freshwater West is only a 10 minute drive for dog walks or sunset wanders.
Our kids loved the woods and swings and the cows brought some laughs. Jo offers a bread and pastry service in the mornings which is a lovely way to start the day.
We would love to come back and bring the bikes next time. Thanks for a great week. via mobile
