 A lovely site with the benefit of a good cafe just across the road (closed Sundays) and some walks nearby.
The CL has five pitches in a row side by side, well spaced and marked by plant pots, a piece of grass between pitches 4 and 5 otherwise continuous gravel.
All have a nice view over to the rooftops of the village, the hills and fields. Opposite the pitches is a large mown field and there are places to sit.
The actual grounds are worth exploring and go further than you might think, winding paths down towards the river.
The WC/sink/shower is basic but clean. It's £1 per shower via an honesty box but you can use your own facilities, of course. Electricity is metered at cost making this a very affordable site as the pitch is £20 p. Nt.
There are many places to visit nearby: Loch Leven, Kinross, Perth and Sterling plus local villages like Dollar. There's some tourist info in the WC/shower room and at the cafe. The friendly but discreet owner can help with suggestions. There's a small shop in the village but the nearest pub may be in Drum.
This is a great CL site but it would be remiss not to mention the one thing that might bother you a bit and that's the road noise which can be fairly constant during the day. Ignore that and enjoy the view!

Previous review is still very relevant despite it being 3 years on.
It's still £20 per night but you now pay for electric at the cost charged to the site - currently 30p per kw.
We used all usual, and it cost us £1. 05 in 24 hours.
The loo and shower are old but spotlessly clean. Pitches on hardstanding gravel, all with ehu. Water, waste and chem disposal on site, no dish washing.
There is a dog walk down to the river on site or up the. No through lane to the woods.
For us us the definition of what a CL should be.
Only us on site, owner told considering giving up CL next year as very little trade now. Such a shame it really is a value for money CL which is kept beautifully. If it's still open we will use again.

Fine for a few days, easy to access from j6 of the M90, onto the A977 for about 6 miles, past the Milk Bar restaurant on the left, next turn right. Electricity is included but you pay extra if you exceed 10 units per day. We didn't.
The owner is friendly and helpful, points out everything, takes payment and then leaves you alone. There is a shower for an extra charge, but we didn't use it.
Kinross is the nearest town, has a Sainsbury on the way in, and Loch Leven to walk around. Rumbling Bridge Gorge is the best thing, lovely walks and just up the road from the site.
We would use it again if we were ever in the area. £20 pn, par for the course now.
