 I stayed at this most perfect and tranquil campsite a couple of weekends ago.
The owners of the site, Steven and Rose are so friendly, helpful, and welcoming and keep the campsite clean and tidy. I was given a really comfy patio chair to use all weekend, the bathroom facilities were immaculate. There is a shower block with one shower, toilet, and sink. There is also another toilet adjacent to it.
The campsite is home to three large fields, with one occupying the camping pod and the other two a maximum of a couple of tents. For the whole weekend I was the only one on the site and my stay was beyond even my expectations. Pure bliss.
The site is always directly on the footpath to the RSPB Pagham Nature Reserve, probably a 20-30 minute walk away from it. A short walk back up to Nyetimber and there is a Spar, Tesco Express, a few takeaways, and 3 pubs and restaurant. It's simply in a perfect area for camping and all the essentials and necessities needed.
Will definitely be returning many a time in the future, even some winter camping.

Very friendly and helpful hosts who went out their way to help me jump start my car and made me a cuppa on arrival. On Saturday night when the storm did not let up, the tent was perhaps not suitable refuge for the night the owners very kindly offered us to stay in the camping pod which was weather proof!
The site is a pleasant half hour stroll to Pagham beach. There are plenty of local amenities as all listed and recommended on the listing.
This is a quiet space in a flat, spacious paddock field. With only 2 horses and 3 dogs, i. E. Not a working farm and at the end of a remote track offa main road so easily accessible but no traffic noise.
Overall, pleasant, basic and perfectly adequate for a site with no facilities as stated exactly on the websites description. Chichester and Bogbnor do not take long to reach by car. The owners are laidback hosts, who are contactable but not intrusive.
Many thanks to Stephen and Rose for offering this place, which feels like staying on their big garden rather than on a campsite. Nice Oak trees and bird life, including swallows in the barn. We appreciated being the only ones there.

Steven and Rose were so helpful.
They gave us freezer blocks and a spare camping chair.
Steven drove us to the pod in a trailer and we saw dragonflies, bats and so many birds.
They have two friendly horses and the shower was lovely and warm.
A great place to stay.

We arrived a bit early, but it was no problem for Steve, he asked us to chose one of three fields in which to pitch our tent. He then moved two of his horses and helped us take our gear to our pitch.
We had the whole paddock to ourselves. Loos and showers are clean and tidy.
We got ourselves sorted then went to the beach a 6 minute bike ride away for a swim.
Steve was always on hand if we needed anything, and available for a chat about anything.
We will return and pick another field next time.
Very peaceful and relaxing time. Thanks Steve and Rosie.

This holiday stay was the most relaxed fun holiday I have had for years.
The owners Steve and Rose are amazing, they make me so welcome and help out with making my stay the best ever.
The birds and other animals are all here to see, including 2 beautiful Horses and 3 wonderful Dogs. A Squirrel a crow and lot glorious birds of all kinds.
This is a must stay. Book in, you'll love it.

I've stayed at this site several times and intend to visit again and again.
Rose and Steve are always very welcoming.
The views are great with a lovey peaceful atmosphere.

Friendly welcome and throughout stay from Steve.
Clean basic small campsite. Seemed like good drainage as I arrived not long after lots of rain and was able to find a good place to put the tent up.
Needed to let Steve know when I wanted a shower so he could put the heating on in the shower room and heat the water ready. This was done via text or I gave him an estimate of when I'd need it earlier in the day.
Local corner shops and several pubs are available, I only used the shops.
Regular bus service to/from Bognor and Chichester made it easy to get to.
I was the only one staying that weekend. Very peaceful, can hear curlews from the local wetland and swans doing fly passes.

Our trip to Furzedown can only be described as wonderful!
We were the only people present for the duration of our stay so we had three paddocks to ourselves with only two horses and 3 dogs for company, which we didn’t mind at all!
A comfortable shower/toilet block with everything you need, plus a washing up station. A small adults only site, perfect for a relaxed break.
You can walk to the beach, which is under a mile and there are four pubs, Indian and Chinese which are a 15 min walk from the site.
Steven and Rose were lovely hosts, helped us with transporting our belongings to the field and were on site should you need anything.
Fresh eggs went down a treat in the morning with breakfast!
We needed a relaxed break and that's exactly what we had, can’t wait for our return next year!

Very nice site. The hosts are friendly and helpful. It consists of several grassy fields, two toilets and one shower. A large space for campers to spread out.
I was able to rent a fire pit and buy wood for a very reasonable price
You can walk straight onto the footpaths leading to the RSPB nature reserve.
There are takeaways, a pub, and a tesco express just down the road. It is within walking distance to the beach and there is a regular bus service.
Dogs are not allowed, however if you are uncomfortable with dogs please be aware that this is not a dog-free establishment.
The owners have several dogs who bark when people pass by, but they are not allowed to enter the camping area and pose no danger.

Brilliant site. We had one of the best camping trips we have ever had.
Steve couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful.
So much space and great facilities.
We love having a real fire.
