A good site with a very helpful owner, Andy. I hardly stayed at the site as I got a terrible stomach pain on the 2nd night. Ended up in hospital with a stoma bag and was there for a month. OH had to stay on the site which Andy kindly allowed.
Also a special mention to Norman and Judy who stay there every summer, they were very kind and helpful to OH. We were only charged about £18 per night.
We will return in better times.

One night stopover heading North - cant really fault anything.
We booked and paid online and received email with comprehensive information about site and our pitch number.
Hardstanding pitches with water and electric. Chem disposal and grey water drain at edge of site. There is one toilet and shower - rustic but totally serviceable.
Cafe seemed popular but we didn't use. Less than 10 minutes walk to the canal towpath.
Costs £22 per night witch includes £3 electric, over that you pay extra. We used fridge, microwave, water heater, chargers etc. Etc and used £1. 05. Unless you are running heaters can't believe you would go over the £3.

Very nice site with plenty of space, cafe next door did a great breakfast,
Only downside was the weather, waterproof shoes needed to go to the toilet as the puddle at the entrance was terrible.

Just got back from this cracking little site,
We’ve been here 3 times now and it never fails to impress us.
Highly recommended and will definitely keep returning here.
