 This was our second visit to this wonderful and friendly naturist site and it was still as nice as we had remembered.
From Dieppe we took the free BAC Ferry across the River Seine a 5 minute crossing. The site is a 5-10 minutes journey from the point of disembarkation.
The welcome was lovely and we were shown to our pitch which was perfectly adequate. It is a members club and the facilities were kept spotless, all credit to them.
The pool was nice and the bar great for an early evening drink in the sunshine.
We suggested the site to a friend that lives just a couple of hours away but was unaware of it's existence. She joined us for a couple of nights, she left as impressed as ourselves.
The grounds are well maintained and nicely laid out. We enjoyed a game of crazy golf. We mention the friendly atmosphere after visiting most naturist sites, and La Chenaie is a great example of this.
We will look forward to our next visit here.

This is a real gem of a site. Located just west of Rouen near the Sein it is only 4 hrs from Calais so perfect for a first camp when touring in France.
Beautiful sites in a mature forest with a snack bar on site and a big swimming pool heated to a warm 28C.
The pitches are big and interspersed amongst the pretty cottages. The mixed toilet and showers are well kept and clean.
The nearest supermarket is 2kms away.
All this for a very reasonable price. We loved it and will use it as our first stop from now on.

This is a medium volunteer run naturist club that offer camping as well as caravans to rent and mobile home to rent.
There is a lovely pool which is nice and warm, seems very new. It was warm.
There is also a pleasant outdoor bar which was opened on the afternoon till early evening, closes around 1900 hrs. Again this run by the volunteers.
The wash rooms are new very clean and spacious, like all naturist sites these are mixed.
We stayed in a mobile home and it was very clean with everything you would need, I would say seemed a bit dated but taking into account this is not a commercial site, so expectations are different
Pitch for tent level there are sunny spot but most partial shade Flat ground.
The lady book in spoke limited English and we hardly speak French at all but we managed to sort book in all good.
There is a bakery a short drive. No shop on site.
The site was very friendly.
We will be returning in due course as idea distance to drive south.
However we also discovered some very pretty villages and central Rouen will need more time than 3 days, to explore area. Overall lovely place to stay.
