 This site could be a gem. Situated within easy reach of the National Memorial Arboretum (an impressive and thought provoking whole day out), many canals and stately homes it is well away from noisy roads and railways, beside a pleasant fishing lake amid farm fields.
The phone and TV signal was good, but there is no wifi.
However, it suffers from neglect. When we arrived the grass looked as though it had been cut, roughly, two or three weeks before and was not cut during our week.
The hardstandings are actually bare earth (there may be hardcore beneath) but need a coat of gravel.
The rubbish bin was crammed full and was not emptied while we were there. None of the customers there had ever seen the owner.
Attending to the deficiencies could make this a £15 per night site.
