Only planned to stay one night as visiting nearby the next day.
This is an unusual site and really well worth the simplicity to walk around the surrounding area; old Cold War bunkers and gun emplacements etc.
Small farm with many varieties of animals and Wallabies!
Cafe on site too!
Different and loved it!

All good and on-site facilities were satisfactory. Perfect location to explore Portland. Would stay here again.
No disposable bbq permitted so do not bring, otherwise bring kettle bbq or similar and you won't be disappointed.
Animals on-site look well looked after and a friendly site team.
Portland has a lot to offer from climbing, walking, cycling, fishing and many other watersports.

Very welcoming people on the gate facilities basic but very clean. £1 for 7 mins in electric shower.
Toilet block shuts at 9pm but there is a portaloo in the field - kept to highest cleanliness.
Camping ground is uneven grass so bring chocks.
Our children enjoyed looking at the Wallabies, goats, horses, donkeys, geese on site.
Very close to tout quarry & high angle battery for free walks.
Overall 8/10 due to basic facilities, portaloo and uneven ground.
If we visit Portland again we would stay here again!
