This site is ideally situated. Keep going on the A35 past Bridport, assuming you are coming from the west. Past the fire station, right at the next roundabout by the garage. Ignore the first turn to Walditch, turn right just past the bus stop. It's about 200 yards along a quiet lane.
Unfortunately the site does not live up to its rather grand title. It's lovely to look at, above a wood and next to a pond, with a dog walk. The main problem is the grass, it's haphazardly cut and not properly picked up. It gets everywhere. A couple arrived the day before we left, isn't it lovely, they said. I bet they were not so happy a couple of days later. It's also too much at £25 pn.
It's easy to get everywhere, Morrisons for supplies, the afore mentioned garage. Go to the Hive beach at Burton Bradstock which is NT so free to park if you are a member. Also has a well regarded restaurant.
It's a shame, has great potential, but please sort out the grass and charge a bit less! via mobile
