 Booked via email a couple of days ahead - very quick and helpful response. Likewise, reception staff were great when we arrived, although on first glance the reception/bar area is a bit tired with cracked windows etc.
We were allocated a large corner pitch near all the facilities which was brilliant for my disabled husband- it is a huge site however and some are a lot more remote and difficult to access.
The pitch wasn't very level and it took a couple of goes to get pitched as we wanted. There's a very nice covered pool close to the bar - which also does snacks and food - plus a separate pool with waterslide. There were quite a few activities when we were there, and visits by food vans including a superb cheese and charcuterie vendor.
Sanitaires were kept very clean - but the design of the shower area is terrible! Unisex but with separate showers for male and females, the drainage is poor so the floor was always wet. Loos are single sex and have washbasin cubicles; there's an enclosed washing up room and laundry in the same area.
It's a great site for families but we wouldn't return here as it's a steep downhill walk of 20 mins or more to the nice port and pebble beach (and hence 20-30 mins steep walk back); there is an aire in the port so in theory you could drive a motorhome down there, there also plenty of car parking. The large e leclerc 5 mins drive away is walkable via a path which I found by accident while cycling !
Cycling in the area either involves steep hills or crossing a dualled main road; again you could drive to the greenway at Paluel or the Lac due Canuel for a more enjoyable ride.
