 A very well maintained and modern site with excellent facilities but an odd arrangement for toilets showers, entering through the games room. Other (excellent) showers a long walk from the touring park in the rain.
Nice walks from the site and an easy walk into Dumfries but along the main road

Handy site for Dumfries. Neat & level pitches.
Facilities clean & well kept.
Pet friendly with large dog walking field. Very friendly welcome.

A beautiful small site with level, well spaced, pitches. At the site there is a single toilet and a toilet/shower room, a slight walk from these at the main entrance are further shower and toilet facilities. All were spotless during our stay.
Located next to the A76 there is little traffic noise. All pitches get the sun for most of the day. There is a large dog walking area which has a river with kingfisher sightings if you are patient.
Just down the road are Tesco, Aldi, McDonalds, KFC etc. These are in walking distance on fairly level footpaths.
Wardens are very nice and helpful.
There are security gates that are closed at night but a code to open them is provided.
All in all a lovely small site and one I would happily recommend.

Quiet, friendly and exceptionally clean site.
We even manage to get uninterrupted WiFi signal inside our van😊.
Lovely walk down to river.
We would definitely visit again.

Beautiful little site and a 45min walk right Into the heart of Dumfries.
Loads to see within 30mins drive as well.
If I was being critical the toilet facilities are strange. You walk through a games room with two toilet rooms at one end. One of these has a shower. Only the one shower for 15 pitches.
Other than that it's a perfect little site. Water, electricity and sewage facilities are excellent.

Newbridge country Park was very clean and well looked after. The team were very welcoming, friendly and helpful with lots of local knowledge.
The site was in an excellent location and we felt very safe and secure there.
I cannot recommend this site enough. It is so peaceful with beautiful scenery and sky line at night.
It has everything that you need. The toilets and showers were immaculate. The site was very clean and well looked after and having the grey water & Elsan point near was pitches was good so didn't have far to walk.
Our 2 dogs loved running around the large grass dog walking area alongside the river and they even went for a paddle.
The site is only 2 miles from Dumfries town centre and easy access to all major roads, with major supermarkets and stores within a 5 minute drive.
The site is very secure at night with a locked gate. The best thing about the site was everything!
It was brilliant to have flat hardstanding pitches with EHU, free WIFI, free showers, free games room, and a large off-lead dog walking area with benches to sit and admire the views of the river and scenery.
I can honestly say after many many years of touring this is one of the best sites we have stayed at.
Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome. We will stay again.
