Great place to stay, really friendly owners.

The small farm on site is a great hit with the kids, the site is fantastic a real back to nature setting which is brilliant.

The pitches are fantastic with plenty of room around you.

The toilet & shower is new & always clean.

There is running drinking water as well.

We will definitely be returning here & I would recommend to anyone that likes a quiet break away.

Our favourite campsite - ever! Friendly, safe, beautiful green open spaces. Clean and user friendly washing station.

The most wonderful owners!

Really would recommend to all, especially young families who want to put their feet up and watch the children play. See you again soon! X

We loved our stay at Etching Wood!

The site is beautifully maintained with a great shower and toilets and you couldn’t wish for kinder, more welcoming hosts.

I would strongly recommend this for all camping families!

This is such a special spot, the perfect place to spend a summer’s day and evening in beautifully peaceful surroundings.

The pitches are well spaced and the shower is a great new addition.

Joe and Helen could not be more helpful and the resident animals provide fantastic entertainment for kids and adults alike!

We had a wonderful stay at Etching Wood. So much space for the children to run around and den build in the woods.

A beautiful setting for a summer camp, surrounded by wildlife, and of course the gorgeous alpacas.

The toilet block and shower are new and kept beautifully.

We will definitely be back 😊

We had a lovely peaceful stay in the bell tent. The tent was huge with plenty of space and a very comfy double bed.

Really handy to have a horsebox next to the bell tent, which has been set up to be used as a sheltered kitchen/cooking area.

The site is surrounded by nature and woodland. My kids loved seeing all the animals on site such as the chickens, sheep, horse, cats and not to forget Ricardo, the very friendly alpaca!

There is a also little mud kitchen and ride-on toys, which my children enjoyed playing with. There is a newly-built flushing toilet and shower on site which is a great addition. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly.

Within walking distance of the site is a lovely village pub (the Hare and Hounds), which does great food.

We had a great stay and our kids keep asking when we can go back!

My husband and two dogs stayed at Etching Wood a few weeks ago and had a wonderful time.

It was so peaceful! We were made to feel welcome and the hosts made sure we had all we needed for a comfortable stay.

Beautiful setting if you are looking to spend some time “off grid” in the tranquillity of the Sussex countryside. We will be back!
