We stayed one night on this lovely campsite campsite to try out our new tent before taking it away in the summer.

The site is a lovely green area in front of the farmhouse and surrounded by trees and high hedges, so there is plenty of choice of shady spots.

Pitches are not demarcated so you can choose where you’d like to pitch up. It’s a working farm and so there are animal noises, but it’s peaceful and lovely to listen to birdsong from the hedges.

Toilet and shower were spotless and everything worked beautifully.

Clare and Mark were wonderful, friendly hosts and we had a brilliant stay.
