 Attractive location for quiet farm camp site. Approached from “Whistle Water” cul de sac and tarmac driveway to the pitching area, with view of alpacas in fields.
The facilities look far from new at first sight, but function well with ample hot water supply. Two unisex showers with modern plumbing, though cubicles are rather small.
There were four EHU sockets, all on one post.
We walked down the alternative path/public footpath directly to the “Rose & Crown” pub, church and bus stop, taking CR5 bus to Sherborne which is a lovely Georgian style country town, with Abbey and Museum and The Sherborne arts centre.
We had a tasty meal at the pub which is under new management.
Reasonably priced tariff, and would be happy to visit again.

Lovely small peaceful site on working farm. CCC member site.
Owners friendly and informative and was allowed to pitch where I liked.
Dog walking direct from pitch, pub, church and bus 10 minutes walk down a private lane.
Sherborne can be accessed by bus or a 50 minute walk through fields and woods.
Great monthly market in Sherborne, plus castle (both) worth a visit.
