 This is how allstopovers should be. Well laid out, flat pitches, electric if wanted (extra charge), fresh water, drive over grey waste point, elsan and rubbish bins, plus friendly owners.
Book direct and a reserved sign is put on pitch, otherwise its turn up and first come first served.
Easy short walk into Fort Augustus for shops, cafes etc.

What a find! On our way through Fort Augustus with nowhere to stay we spotted this site alongside the main road within half a mile of the town centre.
A sign at the entrance telling you to drive in and pitch up and the owner would come to you either that evening or the following morning. Hardstanding and grass, your choice if you want a hook up or not. We chose not to for quite a reduction on the pitch fee. No facilities block but fresh water, elsan, rubbish desposal and drive over grey water point.
We were glad we arrived when we did as the site filled up quite quickly, apparently it is possible to ring and book a pitch before arrival but generally it is first come first served.
