Hello, the campsite itself is superb.
Since it was my first visit, here are a few useful things to know: during events like the Barry Sheene Festival, the event organisers manage the entire campsite, whereas at other times, UK Campsite handles management (specifically the outer area to the left as you enter the site).
The showers are the only facility shared by the inner and outer areas. The old washroom block is closed—likely due to its dilapidated state; two members of the "Orange Team" tried to shower there on Friday evening but turned back. That was actually when I arrived, following a long motorcycle ride from Portsmouth in average temperatures of 35°C.

We liked the friendly free and easy no hassle atmosphere, and would like to thank Trigger for his help and advise.
Electric hook up would add something more to the camp site, but the lack of it did not spoil our great few days, and we will definitely come back thank you.

We stayed for the long bank holiday weekend and the place is amazing. Other reviews don't give it justice. Yes there's cut grass but that's it.
The ground is flat, the space is massive, its quiet, other campers were friendly. The gent on site is your best asset. From the minute we arrived he was so helpful.Provided our own bin and brought over a bench, bins were emptied daily.
The toilet and shower block were spotless & cleaned twice a day. Always stocked with plenty of soap, toilet rolls, hand towels. There's drinking water and hot washing up point.
Seriously can't go wrong with the location, 20 mins in to scarborough sea front. A great group of family site.
