Not actually on the Lake Constance but around a 30 min cycle ride away, which means you'll probably always find space! It's owned by and next door to a caravan seller with a shop, so you could get spares if you need.
However, it's not the best location because there are no views, there's a railway right behind and a large road not far away. The train isn't actually noisy or frequent and stopped around 10:30pm and started again around 6:00am when we were there.
The road noise is noticeable though. On the other hand it's a well-connected place, with a train station in the town, good road connections and bicycle paths taking you via several different routes to the Lake.
The site is green and leafy and on the edge of woods going down to the lake. There are shops and an Aldi not far away, but not easy walking distance.
The reception isn't open for very long: they don't open up until 9:30am and shut at something like 5pm. They told us to pay in the morning, which meant we ended up waiting until 9:30 before we could leave. They were perfectly friendly and assigned us a pitch right next to reception and the facilities - I don't know if they were intending to be helpful or not, but the tent pitch there is extremely stony and very difficult to get tent pegs into. I would suggest going further away from reception.
There is a barrier at the entrance which reads your number plate, so until you've done registration and whatever you can't get in: don't expect to arrive late and sort it out in the morning - you won't be able to get in. The site is clean and tidy, as are the facilities which are very good but limited (fine for us as one night cycle tourists).
We couldn't find any rubbish bins, which are supposed to be off-site but even so, not to be found anywhere.
It's a very quiet, small site with a small playground and plenty of space so fine for small kids who don't annoy the others! They took card payment.

A nice campsite next to it’s owner Caramobil stockist of various motorhomes and caravans.
Excellent heated facilities, roomy showers with wands and temperature control.
Very clean. Good size pitches.
Friendly and helpful reception.
We would use this site again.
